Harrison K-9 Training Methods

Advanced obedience

All K-9 s are taught the commands of "come, heel, sit, down, and stay" in English, Dutch, Czech, or German - on and off leash using verbal and silent hand commands.

Protection

Our K-9 s are taught to bite and hold on to an attacker. Here again, commands are taught in English, Dutch, Czech, or German.

Everyday places

We also train in a variety of everyday settings including city streets and parks, vehicles, small boats, and yachts.

Special skills

We train in a variety of demanding and unusual circumstances.

Training Facilities

A rigorous training regime is part of everyday training.

A powerful hold on the bad guy is taught to every Harrison K-9 during training.

Obedience in unusual places focuses each K-9's attention on the handler and builds trust between them.

Agility is a fundamental part of our training and assures our clients of a agile and willing protector

Our agility course helps build courage, strength and confidence in our K-9 s.

Our immaculate 25-acre compound is located in rural South Carolina.

Special environments

Training in areas such as an office ensures your K-9 will perform as conditioned under a wide range of circumstances.

An on-site simulated park is used for training our K-9 s for practical situations outdoors. Homes, offices, and vehicles as well as large and small boats, are also used as training locations.
